MASSIMO GIORGETTA - "AMERICAN CROCODILE"
"Cuba - Gardens of the Queen the shot was taken in the archipelago, among the mangroves, where a small colony of American crocodiles lives. I was lucky enough to meet 2 crocodiles, one 2.5 meters long and one a little larger. To take a series of photos I had to go in the water with them for 3 days, to study the currents, the light and the clarity of the water, then I had to wait for the crocodile to position itself at the established time in the right position of the backlight. The idea was to have the best contrast between the sun's reflection and the color of the water. The top you see is the mooring of the boat I wanted by choice not to remove it in post".
